Emma Jervis Photography

Emma has been a freelance photographer for over ten years and her work regularly appears in national and local media, such as The Irish Times, The Examiner, The Limerick Leader and The Southern Star. Before becoming a freelancer she worked as part of the Press 22 (www.press22.ie) team and was nominated for numerous awards with the Press Association of Ireland (PPAI) in both the News and Politics categories. She recently relocated to Glandore in West Cork and is available locally, nationally and internationally for work. Although she photographs weddings and civil ceremonies all over Ireland, Asia and South America, it is travel photography that is her greatest passion. Emma's approach to photography combines patience, humour and talent. She takes time to consider the subject in its setting, ensuring the composition, light and exposure all enhance the final result. Her photography and teaching style are informative and relaxed; ideal gateways into this art form.

Bantry House and Garden

Bantry House is the ancestral home of the Earls of Bantry which is situated overlooking Bantry Bay in West Cork. The title lapsed in 1891 but the house is still owned and lived in by the direct descendants of the 1st Earl of Bantry. Bantry House hosts a number of events including classical and traditional music festivals, outdoor theatre productions, retreats and fairs and is a popular location for television and films. The House is also registered as an authorised civil ceremony venue, and hosts weddings as well as other private celebrations. Enjoy a light lunch in the Tearoom which serves fresh local produce or an overnight stay  in one of the elegantly restored rooms in the East Wing.  All bedrooms are en-suite and your stay includes breakfast of local produce from the buffet and cooked to order breakfast. Bantry House and Garden is now closed for the winter and will reopen for Easter 2015.
